: An exciting development in hay baling in recent years has been the implementation of "Continuous Monitoring." By installing a Delmhorst FX-2000 Hay Moisture Meter in the tractor cab and connecting it to a special Bale Sensor in the bale chamber, the operator is able to monitor hay moisture while baling. The Delmhorst FX-2000 Hay moisture meter collects and processes 2 readings every second and displays the average highest of 8 accumulated readings. The readings continually update every 4 seconds. This provides the operator with a dependable method of monitoring hay for optimal quality and safety against fire.
